Oliver Ranch Tours
Tours of the ranch are scheduled from April through early June, and September through early November. The ranch is closed during the winter and summer months. There is approximately a two-year waiting period for non-profit groups interested in taking a tour. All tours benefit non-profit organizations and there is a minimum donation requirement. The tour length is approximately 2.5 hours and it covers approximately 2.5 miles with 600 feet of up and down elevation change. It can be likened to a light hike in the woods as the paths are unpaved. Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes are recommended. Tour groups can either arrive to the ranch in one bus or in up to four cars. The bus can hold up to 60 people, although we really do not recommend tours with more than 50 people. Under very special circumstances (and with previous permission obtained by Oliver Ranch staff) if someone must drive his/her own vehicle in addition to a bus, this vehicle must follow the bus so as to arrive at the same time as the group, not earlier or later. There are no exceptions to this. There are no restrooms at the ranch. If your group does not reserve a bus with a restroom on board, we request that the group make a restroom stop just before Geyserville. Restrooms in the artist studios are not for the public to use.
Individuals not aligned with a specific non-profit may still gather a group to tour the ranch provided they select a 501c3 non-profit to support before the tour is scheduled. It can be any 501c3 non-profit as long as it is the monetary beneficiary to the tour. Individuals may also join an already scheduled group tour by contacting tour organizers who have indicated they have tour tickets to sell. Any individual purchasing tour tickets will need to coordinate arriving with that tour group. Under no circumstances will an individual be admitted to the ranch in their own vehicle unless first approved by Oliver Ranch staff. Tour dates are posted approximately two months prior to the tour season. View the Spring 2020 and the Fall 2020 tour schedule for tour contact information and availability. Keep checking back as we will update the tour schedule when a group lets us know they have available tickets to sell.
Oliver Ranch does not host personal events and/or lunches.
